Jennifer DeVivo Has Obtained Broker’s License from the State of Connecticut

President and Broker of Calcagni Real Estate, Antonio Lig-uori has announced Jennifer DeVivo, vice president of operations has obtained her Real Estate Broker license from the State of Connecticut.

For over 50 years, Calcagni Real Estate has been Connecticut’s largest independently owned and operated real estate company, specializing in residential, commercial and new construction real estate transactions. DeVivo, a licensed Realtor, first joined Calcagni in 2004. In June 2017, she became vice president of sales for the company’s Wallingford and North Haven offices and since April, has held the position of vice president of operations for the entire company.

“For 17 years, Jennifer has dedicated herself to embodying Calcagni’s values,” says Liguori. “She leads by example, always lending a hand to support clients, agents, or staff. Her knowledge of real estate, the professionalism with which she handles each situation, and her thoughtfulness in her daily interactions with both Calcagni team members and clients continue to demonstrate her commitment to making our company the best it can be. We’re so proud of Jennifer for obtaining her Broker’s License, which will enable her to better serve homebuyers and sellers throughout Connecticut, as well as our fellow Calcagni Real Estate team members.”

The State of Connecticut requires licensed Realtors to meet strict guidelines in order to obtain a Real Estate Broker License. With at least two years active experience, licensed Realtors must complete 60 hours of classroom course in Real Estate Principles and Practices, 15 hours of classroom course in Real Estate Brokerage Principles and Practices, 15 hours classroom course in Legal Compliance and at least 20 real estate transactions in the previous five years, or 30 hours in an elective approved real estate class.

“Having an even deeper knowledge of real estate through obtaining my Broker’s License allows me to better guide our agents and in the long run, to make them better positioned to serve Cal-cagni’s clients,” DeVivo says. “I’m so proud to be a part of Calcagni leadership and to join oth-ers in our company who also have their Broker’s Licenses. This dedicated team is available to our agents 7 days a week, and the importance of this cannot be underestimated. Whether it’s a newer agent still learning the ropes or an experienced agent who needs some guidance, we work with them to ensure the best possible outcome. I’m excited to now be able to support them in a more comprehensive way.”

Liguori concurs. “Calcagni has a reputation for supporting the talented people who work here. From our in-house marketing team and our staff who supports our agents seven days a week to providing opportunities to further our agents’ education, we remain committed to delivering the support our agents need to succeed to their best abilities.”

Having been a recipient of that support as a real estate agent and providing it to others in her leadership roles, DeVivo continues to be inspired by and dedicated to Calcagni. “I’ve been at this company for 17 years, first as a real estate agent, and then in different leadership roles. The people I work with make it all worthwhile. We spend a lot of time together, supporting each other both personally and professionally. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
