Calcagni Real Estate Donates Over 450 lbs. of Food to Local Organizations

As proud members of our Connecticut communities, our Calcagni Real Estate offices aren’t just for conducting real estate business. Though many of us are working remotely these days, our offices still serve as a hub for our company, a place to touch base (in a safe, socially distanced way!) and support the towns and cities in which we’re located.

To this end, we recently held a food drive across three of our Calcagni offices to raise awareness of the unprecedented stresses our local food pantries and community centers are experiencing during COVID-19. By partnering with One Source and ASG Information Technologies, we were able to deliver hundreds of pounds of food to three local organizations providing critical resources to our most vulnerable neighbors.

Through the food drive, Calcagni Real Estate was able to drop off 160 lbs. of food to Cheshire Community Food Pantry, along with a monetary donation of $100. In Southington, 110 lbs. of food was delivered to Southington Community Services; Master’s Manna Food Pantry, located in Wallingford, received 216 lbs. of food in total.

We are so grateful to our Calcagni family for pitching in, and to One Source and ASG Information Technologies for helping us meet our goal of donating to these crucial non-profits. In total, 486 lbs. of food were donated to these three organizations, and we look forward to helping them again in their missions to care for our neighbors who need it most.
