Lorrie Maiorano of Calcagni Real Estate Has Been Appointed the 2023 President of the New Haven Middlesex Association of REALTORS
January 18, 2023–Wallingford, CT–President and Broker of Calcagni Real Estate, Antonio Liguori has announced Lorrie Maiorano, a Realtor in the company’s North Haven office, has been named President of the New Haven Middlesex Association of REALTORS (NHMR) for 2023.
“We are thrilled to announce that Lorrie Maiorano has been named as president of New Haven Middlesex Association of REALTORS,” Liguori says. “Since Lorrie joined Calcagni Real Estate as an agent in 2003, she has repeatedly demonstrated admirable leadership skills, both inside and outside of our company. Lorrie exhibits the same level of commitment to the numerous boards on which she serves as she does to Connecticut homebuyers and sellers. It’s part of what makes her such a stellar addition to our company, and it’s no wonder she received a Realtor of the Year Award from NHMR in 2020. We are looking forward to her success in this well-deserved role.”
Maiorano has been a member of the NHMR board since 2018, serving first as director, then treasurer and in 2022, she served as vice president. She has also been a part of the NHMR foundation board, along with its legislative and finance committees. In addition to NHMR, Maiorano also serves as Director of the Connecticut Association of Realtors (CTR), where she has held the role since 2018. In 2020, she was part of CTR’s grassroots committee, and in 2022, joined the political fundraising and engagement committee, on which she still serves. This year, Maiorano has been named Chair of the Engagement Committee. She is also the Director of the National Association of Realtors.
In addition to her many leadership roles in real estate, Maiorano currently serves as Chair of the East Haven Economic Development Commission, is a board member at the East Haven Chamber of Commerce, and is a committee member of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 401. She has served on the charitable foundation auction committee of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association (HBRA), and on the Ulbrich Boys and Girls Club golf tournament committee.
