Beth Allen Byrd Has Obtained a Broker’s License from the State of Connecticut

July 24, 2020—CHESHIRE, CT— President and Broker of Calcagni Real Estate, Antonio Liguori has announced Beth Allen Byrd, Vice President of Sales, has obtained her Real Estate Broker license from the State of Connecticut.

For over 50 years, Calcagni Real Estate has been Connecticut’s largest independently owned and operated real estate company, specializing in residential, commercial and new construction real estate transactions. Byrd, a licensed Realtor, first joined Calcagni in 2014 and since 2017 has held the role of vice president of sales for the company’s Southington office. In 2019, the company’s Guilford office also came under her purview.

“Beth has shown unparalleled enthusiasm and initiative in her roles both as a Realtor and as vice president of sales,” Liguori said. “Through her drive and dedication, she has continued to demonstrate her passion for real estate, and for this company. We are so proud of Beth’s latest accomplishment. It is indicative of the level of professionalism we are pleased to offer home buyers and sellers throughout Connecticut.”

In order to qualify for a Real Estate Broker license, the State of Connecticut requires licensed Realtors with at least two years active experience complete 60 hours of classroom course in Real Estate Principles and Practices, 15 hours of classroom course in Real Estate Brokerage Principles and Practices, 15 hours classroom course in Legal Compliance and at least 20 real estate transactions in the previous five years.

“Though in my current role as vice president of sales I’m often making high-level business decisions, my education level didn’t match my enthusiasm,” Byrd said. “I needed to rise to meet the road. I remain responsible for the market share and revenue for our Guilford and Southington offices, but I can now support our agents and clients in a more meaningful way, including a deep knowledge of legal compliance.”

Obtaining her Broker license will allow Byrd to further serve Calcagni’s mission to provide the most reliable and comprehensive real estate services to clients throughout Connecticut. Liguori agrees. “Since its founding, Calcagni has remained committed to helping our agents thrive,” he said. “We support their continued education and success, and recognize their achievements have helped us set the standard for unmatched expertise and service.”

For Byrd, the support she has received at Calcagni was an integral part of her achievement. “Calcagni has always been encouraging about education,” she said. “Not only does the company encourage it, but they financially participate in it. As someone who is perpetually trying to evolve in a positive way, that kind of company culture is invaluable in helping to retain agents and management.”

Calcagni Real Estate is a fully diversified real estate agency offering residential properties, new construction and commercial properties throughout Connecticut.
