About David Otto

Where did you grow up?

My early years were spent on the Quinnipiac River in New Haven.

How long have you lived in CT?

I’ve been a CT resident pretty much all my life.

What do you love most about your town or particular area of CT?

I love the shore area of Connecticut. Growing up by the shore was an absolute joy as a child.

What is your favorite thing to do in your downtime?

My favorite thing to do is travel. Experiencing history, culture, food, people from all over the world is pure joy. I’ve been to many incredible places and I’m always excited when visiting a new place for the first time. And when I can’t travel I enjoy photography, guitar, and golf.

Where or what is your happy place?

My happy place is visiting with my three boys and their wives. Nothing makes me happier than being in a room with them and seeing their smiling faces.

What is your favorite childhood memory?

Summers on the shore! We would spend our days fishing, swimming, or exploring from sun up to sun down. It was truly an awesome experience!
