Who has influenced you most?

My daughter influences me the most by providing me with the strength to always be the best person I can be. She makes me always want to strive for more.

What is your best quality or greatest strength?

I’m a firm believer in fate. I believe that everything really does happen for a reason. Over the years I think this outlook has helped me get through life’s toughest obstacles and has enabled me to look on the bright side of things and always remain positive

What did you want to be when you grew up?

An archaeologist – discovering artifacts and putting pieces of a puzzle together to understand the past always interested me.

What is your motto?

You do not have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great – Zig Ziglar. So many people wait until everything is perfect to do something but if you wait you will never do it.

What do you love about Connecticut?

I love the variety that Connecticut offers, you can be at the beach or in the mountains within a short drive. We get to enjoy all the seasons here, and although spring will always be my favorite seeing the leaves change in the fall is beautiful.

What makes you happy?

Being with my family and my animals makes me happy. They remind you what life is all about.
