How long have you lived in Connecticut?

I was born in New Haven, Connecticut so I’ve been a part of Connecticut ever since.

What part of Connecticut do you live in and why?

I live in Wolcott, Connecticut. I’m new to the area but it already feels like home.

What is your favorite local spot?

Although I’ve only been a resident of Wolcott for two years, there are many spots that we like to frequent. Due to the fact that I grew up in Hamden, I would have to say the Eli’s on Whitney is my favorite. I appreciate the great service, great food, great company, and pardon me for taking the quote from Cheers but “it’s a place where everyone knows your name.”

What is your favorite time of year?

Living on a lake, without hesitation, I would have to say summer! Family gatherings, dinners on the deck, boating on the water, grilling, sun shining and fishing pole ready. Of course attending my daughter Alessia’s soccer games are definitely a favorite thing of mine to do during the summer months!

What tip would you give someone moving to your hometown?

I would tell them to take the time to enjoy everything this town has to offer like great restaurants, nice parks to walk through and great shopping plazas just to name a few! Hamden will definitely keep you busy.

What makes you happy?

The answer to this question is simple…family…spending time with my girlfriend, Gina, her girls Hannah and Hailey and my daughter Alessia. Being with four girls definitely keeps me busy but always makes me happy. Ultimately, a day with the house full of family and laughter is definitely when I’m the happiest.

What is your favorite childhood memory?

I have so many but one that comes to mind the most is our family trips with my parents and my brother. We would drive to Rochester and Canada and the time spent in the car with the four of us to me were the best times.

If you moved today and had only one box to take with you, what would you put in it?

I would say that I have at least 3,000 pictures on my phone and when I get some time and I look through them, every one of them brings a smile to my face. Therefore, I would take all of those pictures since I feel as if they are memories of my childhood and my current life all in one.
