What is a little known fact about yourself?

I grew up in Milford, but have lived in Bethany on our little “farm” for the past 9 years. It’s been a great experience for our children, who have taken to rescuing and training some of the animals who now reside at our homestead.

What is your background?

I earned my B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Southern Connecticut State University and I am an approved ECE Consultant by the State of Connecticut.

What is your motto?

“Change is a good thing.”

What is your favorite book?

“Wherever you go there you are.” by Jon Kabat Zinn.

What is your greatest influence:

My children, because they taught me how to become patient.

What is your favorite eating spot?

Lenny & Joe’s Fish Tale or a home cooked meal.

What is you favorite vacation spot?

My own backyard!

What are your hobbies and interests?

Working with my son on his Boy Scout projects and merit badges, and watching my daughter ride and train her horse. We have an assortment of animals that have become part of our family, so I appreciate all kinds of animals including horses, goats, rabbits, cats, dogs and donkeys!
I have served on the Board of Directors for the Clark Memorial Library in Bethany since 2010.
