Have long have you lived in Connecticut?

All 29 years of my life! (wink, wink)

What is your favorite local spot?

It took my husband & I many years of living in Northford to go where the “locals” go…Doody’s Totoket Inn in North Branford. We have become regulars. The food is always terrific and they have the best wait staff around.

What is your favorite time of year?

The fall! Isn’t that why we live here? I love sweater weather when the air gets crisp and the leaves turn into brilliant splashes of color against a bright blue sky.

What tip would you give someone moving to your hometown?

You’ll quickly understand the rivalry between the east and west side of town… it lasts a lifetime! (BTW, I grew up in Wallingford – east side!)

What makes you happy?

The unconditional love of my two beautiful “Yin & Yang” cats.

What is your favorite childhood memory?

Family vacations on Cape Cod and endless summers spent on my grandparent’s farm in upstate New York surrounded by oodles of cousins playing kick the can and kickball until dark. I had a wonderful childhood and grew up in a neighborhood full of kids – many of whom I am still friends with today.

If you moved today and was told that you could only take one box with you, what would be in it?

That would be a very easy decision! Refer to what makes me happy… my two beautiful cats. Coincidentally they love boxes!

How long have I been part of the Calcagni team?

I joined Calcagni on President’s Day in 1995. I’ll let you do the math on that one! Suffice to say I’ve been there a while.
