What do you love most about your town or particular area of CT?

I love the pizza in Connecticut, especially New Haven pizza. It’s the best pizza I’ve ever had, and it’s simply unmatched to any other area. I also love Connecticut for its great hiking. After spending 4 years in an area of Georgia without great hiking, I’m very happy to be in an area with lots of hiking spots.

What is your favorite thing to do in your downtime?

I have an Australian Shepard named Ollie, he has a lot of energy so one of my favorite things to do is spend time with him and play with him. When I’m not with Ollie, I’m finding new coffee shops to try. I love coffee and trying different places is fun!

Are there any talents you wish to share?

I went to art school, and I have a bachelors degree in fine arts, so I’m very proud of my artistic abilities. I’m skilled in difficult adobe products and design. Its something not many people are knowledgeable about so I’m proud of that.

Where or what is your happy place?

My happy place would be Arcadia National Park in Maine. Hiking and camping are one of my favorite hobbies and Arcadia is the best place I’ve been for that.

What is your favorite childhood memory?

Every weekend growing up, my mom made her special noodles for dinner. We found it was hard to catch up for dinner every day during the busy week, but every weekend we made it a priority to connect over that special dinner with the family. It was so special! We would talk about everything going on in our lives over the week, even if it was just what was happening on our favorite tv show.

What would someone be surprised to learn about you?

I moved to America on my own at 17! My entire family was still in Korea when I first moved to Maryland. My family eventually joined me here in America, but I think moving overseas at a young age is something most people don’t do, and people would be surprised to learn that.
