MBA, REALTOR, CRS, GRI, RCC, SRES
I was born and raised on the south shore of Long Island, but I have lived in Hamden with my husband for over 30 years. I have worked at Calcagni Real Estate as a Realtor for 15 years, though my educational and professional backgrounds extend much further. Despite my career-driven nature, I am very family-minded. I developed my love of books and reading from my mom and my commitment to community involvement and volunteering from my dad. My husband and I have two adult sons who live—I am thrilled to say—nearby.

My original dream was to be a Math teacher. I know, I know, but I always loved Math!! My high school Math teacher was an incredible motivator and educator and I couldn’t resist the challenges that he presented in calculus and beyond! At Cornell I got sidetracked and thought that I wanted to be a clinical psychologist. After a brief stint in retail management I obtained my MBA at Columbia. From there, I worked my way up at a marketing company in Manhattan, eventually finding my way to Connecticut. After children came along, I switched to tax preparation which gave me great flexibility – not to mention got me going again with those numbers! In the blink of an eye, my boys grew up and I was ready for a new challenge.
Ability to be a calming force and verbalize different points of view in the midst of highly charged conflicts/emotional situations.
Never give up!! Be tenacious!
My passion is sitting on a sunny beach reading a novel with the ocean waves crashing along the shore, although I love reading all year round. I also enjoy doing crossword puzzles, Sudoku, playing scrabble, dancing and Jazzercise.
I have too many to name, but love contemporary novels with a focus on relationships and/or courtroom settings.
Ability to play the piano really well.
I’m one half Greek – and love the cuisine!
