MBA, CRS, GRI, RCC, SRES, REALTOR
I’m not sure that I have one that I want to share!
My original dream was to be a Math teacher. I know, I know, but I always loved Math!! My high school Math teacher was an incredible motivator and educator and I couldn’t resist the challenges that he presented in calculus and beyond! At Cornell I got sidetracked and thought that I wanted to be a clinical psychologist. After a brief stint in retail management I got my MBA at Columbia and then worked my way up in a small marketing company which is how I found my way to Connecticut. After children came along, I switched to tax preparation which gave me great flexibility – not to mention got me going again with those numbers! In the blink of an eye, my boys grew up and I was ready for a new challenge.
Ability to be a calming force and verbalize different points of view in the midst of highly charged conflicts/emotional situations.
Never give up!! Be tenacious!
Gone With the Wind is a longtime favorite, but I can watch Top Gun and Dirty Dancing over and over again.
My passion is sitting on a sunny beach reading a novel with the ocean waves crashing along the shore, although I love reading all year round. I also enjoy doing crossword puzzles, Sudoku, playing scrabble, dancing and Jazzercise.
Almost anywhere with a beach!
I have too many to name, but love contemporary novels with a focus on relationships and/or courtroom settings.
Ability to play the piano really well.
I’m one half Greek – and love the cuisine!
Jimmy’s in Cedarhurst -- great shrimp marinara parmigiana!
