How long have you lived in Connecticut?

I have enjoyed living in our beautiful State of Connecticut all my life.

What part of Connecticut do you live in and why?

I was raised in Hamden and lived there a good part of my life, then my first job took me to Wallingford and I chose to stay and raise my 2 children here because the town has so much to offer, Choate Rosemary Hall, beautiful historical homes, a great library, wonderful parks, golf courses and a great sense of community. We’re also privileged to have Wallingford Electric known for its economical rates, and the train station can take you to New York in very little time. Also, Wallingford is centrally located with easy access to I-91 and the Wilbur Cross Parkway.

What's your favorite local spot?

There are so many places that are special, some of my favorite restaurants are Christo’s Pizza, Fratelli’s Trattoria and Gouveia Vineyard with the most spectacular views you’ll ever see!

What's your favorite time of year in Connecticut?

I love spring the most because I enjoy getting my flower beds ready for new growths. I also enjoy summer very much, because I get to enjoy the fruits of my labor, additionally I love going to the beach, taking the ferry to Block Island. The fall is lovely too but I have a tough time with winter!

What tip would you give someone moving to your hometown?

When you love something it is easy to sell and I enjoy this entire area. I don’t think there is a town in my surroundings that I wouldn’t live in and be able to call it home. I know these areas very well and each town has something different to offer.

What makes you happy?

Being with my family and my friends and the ability to help others and make a difference in their life. I love spending time with my grandson very much and watch him grow is wonderful.

What's your favorite childhood memory?

This is an easy one…Christmas mornings with my family!

If you moved today and only had one box to take with you, what would you put in it?

My family photo albums and a few pieces of special jewelry.
