What did you do before Real Estate?

For the past 27 years I have been in sales. Communication, follow up, and due diligence were the keys to success…the same keys required to excel in real estate. Relationships were the foundation of success as they are in any sales related industry. Having spent years in the data communication business, I was ready for a change and had always considered a career in real estate an exciting possibility. When I came to Calcagni, I felt that my need for a professional organization that was local in origin and well known and respected in the community could be satisfied. It turns out my choice was a good one, and I instantly felt at home.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

My dream was to be a basketball player. I was about the age of 13 when I realized I was not going to be big enough. I am currently 5’ 6”, so I suppose I was a pretty bright 13-year old.

Who is the person that has influenced you most?

My identical twin brother was the most influential person in my life. We were always together growing up. We learned from each other’s mistakes and successes.

What is your best quality?

Loyalty is my greatest quality. I have friendships that date back to elementary school. My marriage has exceeded 32 years. I value my family, friends, associates and the trust that they have in me.

What is your motto?

What are you hobbies and interests?

Golf is my current hobby. I started playing about 12 years ago. I find it therapeutic. I’m only an average player (handicap 20) but I love being outdoors and walking the course.
