I spent 10 years in Human Resources before joining Calcagni Associates. I decided to leave the corporate world and pursue a career where I can assist people in a much more personal way. There is something very satisfying about getting to know individuals, their wants and needs, and helping them to fulfill their goals. I enjoy and value individuality and love the versatility that comes with dealing with diverse individuals and unique circumstances.
I once showed a house to a client three times. Each time we’d go to look at the house, the sky would look ominous. As soon as we got inside the house the wind would pick up, it would begin to pour, and the skies would light up with wicked lightening. This weather pattern happened to the same client, viewing the same home, on three different days at different hours. We never walked out of that house dry. I actually thought this weird phenomenon was a good omen, but in the end my customers didn’t end up buying that house. I'm pleased to say that they are very happily living in a house that they only previewed on fair weather days!
Anything that involves activity and my family. I have two young children that keep me on my toes and young at heart. Seeing life through their eyes keeps me balanced, grounded and puts everything into perspective.
Growing up in Cheshire, I spent many a night and weekend during my teen years scooping ice cream at Sweet Claude’s. It was a great place to work and definitely spawned my strong passion for ice cream! Not that I should admit this, but my picture still graces the employee “wall of fame” in the ice cream shop.
Bricco’s in West Hartford Center. They have fabulous Italian food with a trendy twist. The ambiance is awesome and the food is always consistent. Hands down the best!
Quality customer service, reliability and consistency. I am a great listener, which helps in acquiring a clear understanding of my clients' wants and needs. This ultimately leads to finding the right "fit" in a home for each unique homebuyer.
